Your website is not abandoned after launch. Managed plans include ongoing improvement capacity based on your plan.
Managed is not a simplified or lower-cost version of our work. Instead of funding the entire development upfront, CHRD also invests in the relationship and recovers that value through a long-term Managed engagement.

Why is there no large upfront development invoice?
Development within your plan is spread over the commitment. Platform projects require a separate paid scoping phase before development.
Is the website included in the monthly investment?
Yes, within the plan’s agreed scope. The investment covers design, development, hosting, maintenance and the planned improvement allowance. CHRD retains ownership of the code unless a transfer or buyout is agreed.
Is there a contract?
Yes. Website plans carry a 24-month initial term. Platform engagements run for 24 to 36 months as agreed.
Who owns my domain?
You do. The client always owns the domain, business content, and business data.
Who owns the code?
CHRD retains the Managed code/infrastructure unless a transfer or buyout occurs at the end of your commitment.
Can I buy the website later?
Yes. Buyout is available and terms are disclosed before signing.
What happens if I leave CHRD after the term?
You can exercise your buyout option to transfer the code, or you leave with your domain, content, and data.
Can I change plans?
Yes, you can upgrade plans to increase capacity and features. Downgrades are evaluated case-by-case based on site complexity.
Are edits included?
Yes. Each plan has an ongoing improvement allowance for reasonable content updates.
Is SEO included?
Technical SEO foundations are included. Ongoing strategic SEO campaigns are separate.
What about ecommerce or client portals?
Major functionality is scoped separately, generally under the Platform model.
Do I need to provide content?
Yes. Large-scale copywriting, translation, photography, catalogue population and content migration may be separate scope if we handle it.
Ongoing content strategy, backlink acquisition, paid acquisition and dedicated SEO campaigns are separate services.
